Why does artwork need bleed?
Printers cannot print to the exact edge of a sheet; the sheet is trimmed afterwards. Bleed extends the artwork 3mm past the trim line so tiny cutting variations never leave a white sliver on the edge.
Can you fix artwork my previous designer supplied?
Usually, yes. We regularly rebuild files with missing bleed, RGB colour or low-resolution images into press-ready condition.
