How much does a shop sign cost in Manchester?
A straightforward printed fascia typically runs £300–£800 fitted. Built-up illuminated letters run £1,500–£4,000+ depending on size and lighting. Design is a small fraction of that — and the part that determines whether the spend works.
Do I need planning permission for a sign?
Sometimes. Illuminated signs, signs above 4.6m, listed buildings and conservation areas usually need consent — and much of Greater Manchester and Cheshire falls in conservation areas. We design to submission standard and flag when permission is needed.
